Pinnacle and Sony join hands for home segment

As an extension to the already existing relationship in

other countries, Pinnacle systems and Sony India Ltd, have announced an alliance

to promote digital home video solutions in India. With the mutual understanding,

Pinnacle and Sony India would come out with bundled deals, which would include

Sony's digital handy cam and Pinnacle video editing solution.

This would help in the home video recording and editing

market to mature and grow. Pinnacle is a worldwide producer of video editing

solutions and Sony is a worldwide player in the digital video segment.

The alliance also includes co-promotion by both the

companies in order to educate the masses about each other's products and bring

value to the consumer. The companies would combine and give training to dealers

dealing in the products by both the companies and depict the compatibility

between digital handy cam and video editing solutions.
