Pentamedia Graphics, a leading 3D-animation graphics company, has bagged an order to execute a 52-episode 3D-animation serial, Sea Wars. The project was bagged from ANI 21, a leading broadcasting giant based out of Korea and operating out of Los Angeles. The company is also in the process of getting similar projects from the US market.
ANI 21 has provided the script, storyboard with voice recording and dialogues for the Sea Wars project while Pentamedia will generate the character models, sets and other props. The estimated value of the project is around $10 million.
Usha Ganesarajah, the Chief of Pentamedia's USA office said, "We have worked on a series of work-for-hire projects, however, this one is very unique to us especially with reference to the complexity of the creative that Pentamedia has to churn out in this project. This story is brought to life through stunning 3D animation, scintillating visual effects and lovely sea creatures, using key frame and motion capture 3D technology from Pentamedia Graphics. I am excited about working on this project and this surely adds an accolade in Pentamedia's profile."
Sea Wars is a story about two underwater kingdoms, two brothers separated at birth, one to become a good guy and the other the bad guy - a story of love, hate and war, a fight for supremacy in the underwater world.
