PCAIT to conduct sponsored events for members

In a recently held Executive Committee (EC) meeting, Delhi based Progressive Channels Association of Information Technology (PCAIT) has decided to focus more on conducting sponsored events in conjunction with vendors, to improve the skill-sets of its members as well as for fostering tie-ups with vendors. The sponsored event will be managed and coordinated by Sanjiv Bhavnani as a lead consultant. He is also one of the EC members.

V Krishnan, executive secretary, PCAIT said, "We held our EC meeting on October 6, 2011 in Nehru Place, which was attended by one-third strength of EC members. There we unanimously took a decision to start conducting vendors' sponsored event. We are planning to organize such event in the month of November or December, 2011." The association has created an exhaustive list of vendors and has also started approaching hardware and software vendors for conducting joint events.

Krishnan further said, "PCAIT has planned to organize 4-6 events in a year. In addition to this, the association has also appointed NN Dewan, senior advocate, Supreme Court, who will be assisting and solving legal matters of partners on the voluntarily basis, without seeking any monetary involvement."
