The DQ Week decided to go an extra mile for its readers and ask them how the new government might affect their business. Also do they see their expectations and concerns being addressed in near future?

“History is a repetition of events,” said Mahinder Agarwal, CEO, Broadway Computers. He said I feel online market is taking over offline just the way British took over India. As in the long run online channel can prove dismal for the economy at large. Issues like VAT and online retailing which affected our business have not been addressed. So far there hasn’t been any initiation on forming a code for online retailers, no policy formed.

The battle between face of Delhi is getting fierce yet no positive changes. Mahinder Aggarwal said, “However, as a community of distributors we are with the government whichever comes to power.

Ajay Kumar, CEO, Park Group said, “Distributor community has been going through a rough period which has stretched long enough to destroy their business. I am not bullish about any changes, policies or law on this issue irrespective of which party forms government.”
