Delhi based Park Electronik, a well-established name for the vendors and
resellers of Nehru Place since 1997, has further expanded its avenues, by
opening up another showroom at Raja House, Nehru Place, for the distribution of
IT peripherals by the name of ‘The Computer Park’. The opening ceremony on
Dec 27, witnessed the presence of many prominent players of the market as well
as, the industry as a whole. The Guest of Honor for the occasion was Vivek
Prakash, VP (IT and Telecom Division), Samsung India Electronics Ltd.
With two outlets at NOIDA and Panipat, The Computer Park has already earned a
name for itself in the niche product segment. While commenting on the vision
behind the launch, Ajaya Kumar, Director, Park Electronik and The Computer Park
said, "This would certainly cater to the minor needs of our customers.
" Elaborating on this, Kumar pointed out, "Till now, customers had to
satisfy themselves with mere box-items. But here, they can explore and choose
one particular product, from the variety of options available, which means that
the showroom would definitely entertain walk-in customers."
This is in fact good news for both the end-users as well as the System
Integrators (SIs). For any and every branded IT product — whether its desktop
or a laptop PCs, printers, scanners, Web cameras, TFT monitors or even smaller
items like printer cables — all are available under a single roof.
Talking about the brands available, Kumar exclaimed, "You name it, we
have it!"
The sales team at The Computer Park is well informed about the intricacies
and technicalities of the products and is also capa-ble of identifying the right
product by evaluating the needs and aspirations of the customers and the utility
of the product to them. A team of qualified engineers to answer all technical
queries is another attraction of the showroom. In addition to these faci-lities,
the customers are always welcome to demand telephonic assistance related to the
products, anytime during the day.
Hence, in a market situation, where the economy is witnessing a slow growth,
the risk factor involved, like in any other business, is high in IT, it’s only
the customized catering to the needs of consumers that can help generate
revenue. The Computer Park although still in its nascent stage, is attempting to
do just that and the market is yet to see it grow.
