India has a huge potential for automotive batteries with the market showing great potential and the demand increasing in the time to come. Factors like innovative and value for money technology, easy financing environment for car segment and a relatively low car penetration have been driving the demand in this sector.

Panasonic's Automotive Battery manufacturer is already associated with leading car manufacturers Maruti Suzuki for supplies of automotive batteries for both Diesel and Petrol vehicles since 2012.
