On this move, Mark Wilson, Managing Director, Fujitsu India said:"Pallab Talukdar has left Fujitsu India to pursue other interests. We thank him for his valuable contributions to the company's growth."

During his stint with Fujitsu, Talukdar reported to Wilson, who will be responsible for sales, customer and partner support. As of now there has been no replacement for Talukdar's position.

Wilson added:"Fujitsu remains fully committed to its customers, partners and business in India, which continues to be a key market for us and we are growing significantly on y-o-y basis. As such, all operations in the country remain open."

Talukdar was believed to be the first CEO of Fujitsu India and was responsible in building up sustainable business for the company. His primarily role was to ensure customer, partner and employee satisfaction along with managing the P&L.

Before joining Fujitsu in May, 2009 he worked as director for enterprise business at Dell for around 3 years. He also had a short stint with HP but large part of career--around 18 years--was spent at Wipro, where he launched and led Wipro's x86 servers business.
