Punjab association of computer traders (PACT)-which also includes Chandigarh association-is planning to conduct a general body meeting inviting major vendors and distributors for a interaction between them and the members.
The meeting is planned to be scheduled in the last week of this month and is to be hosted at Chandigarh. A total footfall of 100 people is expected
Sanjeev Walia, senior vice-president of PACT and also the president of Chandigarh computer association says that the main agenda of the meeting is to give a platform for the distributors and vendors as well as the partners and discuss on the issues pertaining to the industry.
Walia also said that the association has also started an initiative called KYC, known as ‘Know Your Company' wherein the forms are filled by the vendors and distributors mentioning their contact details for the ease of business.
Last year in October, all 10 associations of Punjab came under a single framework of PACT, which includes Association of Computer Entrepreneurs (ACE) Ludhiana; Amritsar Computer Traders Association (ACTA); Jalandhar Computer Dealers Association (JCDA); Hoshiarpur Computer Dealers Association (HCDA); Nawanshahar Computer Dealers Association (NCDA); Bhatinda Computers Professional Association (BCPA); Computer Hardware Association Sangrur (CHA); Patiala Computer Dealers Association; Moga Computer Dealers Association and Chandigarh Computer Association (CCA)
