Mumbai-based Pacific Infotech recently opened its branch in

New Delhi and is planning to open one in Kolkata too. Kishore Jeswani, Director,

Pacific Infotech said, “We were already operating in whole Northern region

through our CNF agent and we have a very good market in Delhi. This is why we

decided that it would be the right time to tap this opportunity by having a

local presence in the capital.” Currently, Pacific is doing a good amount of

business in cities like Chandigarh, Jaipur and Haryana, besides fulfilling

orders in smaller cities.

The decision to open the Kolkata office was taken after

looking at the potential of the Eastern region, which does not have too many

distributors. And now, after establishing itself in the North and East,

Pacific's next target is the South.  It

will have a local office in Bangalore as well in the next quarter.

Talking about his plan to go national, Jeswani said, “We

had been thinking about expanding our operations for the past six months. But

a lot of thought and logistics planning had to go into it. That is why we

decided to spread our footprint gradually.”
