'Out of Box' conference held

Catalyst Labs conducted the 'Out of Box' (OOB) conference at JN Tata
Auditorium on September 14 and 15.

The annually held OOB Conference presented an opportunity to view the latest
in technology, discover the newest in science, experience the process of
creativity, and above all gain the inspiration to become achievers.

This year's motto for the OOB conference was 'one percent inspiration and
one percent perspiration'. The conference drew 30 speakers discussing on
innovative ideas, Internet, science and technology, creativity and
entrepreneurship. Each speaker discussed the factors that kept them going and
the challenges that nearly made them give up. The common feature of all these
speakers is that they had an 'Out of Box' idea, which helped them to
accomplish their visions.

“This conference is a way towards generating unique ideas that will
revolutionize and change the way we do things,” remarked MC Preetham, Project
Director, Catalyst Labs. He further added, “Every attendee listened to
achievers who had an 'Out of Box' idea and which they saw through to
fruition to achieve their desired goal in life.”

Some of the key speakers of the conference were Sharad Sharma, CEO, Yahoo
India; S Janakiraman, CEO, Mind Tree Consulting; Dilip Chabria, DC Designs; Dr
Devi Shetty, Founder, Narayana Hrudyalaya; Prof S Sadagopan, Director IIT-B;
Bhupendra Sharma, Erehwon Consulting and Randy Wang, Microsoft Research.
