Oracle signs Avnet as its distributor for India

Avnet Technology has
entered into a distribution agreement with Oracle India. Replicating
the global relationship, Avnet will be working together with Oracle
in India to help ensure that channel partners can access the complete
range of Oracle hardware and software solutions.

Under the agreement, Avnet
Technology Solutions will provide Oracle partners with channel
support, including training, enablement, lead generation,
co-marketing, technical integration, services and ongoing support. In
addition, Avnet Technology Solutions will help Oracle increase its
footprint in India and will enable partners to leverage Avnet's
'solutions path' practices to gain specialization in the industries
ideal for these solutions, such as the energy, financial, government,
healthcare and retail markets, as well as data center technology
expertise related to mobility, networking, security, storage and
virtualization.
