Oracle launches mid market solutions forum

Oracle India has rolled out a mid-market solutions forum to be held in seven
cities. The 'Oracle Take Off Summit' organized with key independent
soft-ware ven-dors (ISV) catering to this market segment, kicked off in New
Delhi. 

This forum will highlight low-cost, high-growth solut-ions that are designed
speci-fically for mid-market organi-zations. Apart from Delhi, the other cities
where this sum-mit will be held are Chennai, Mumbai, Coimbatore, Pune, Ahmedabad
and Ludhiana.

This is also a key go-to-market element of Oracle India's ISV Lifecycle
Program launched earlier this year and follows a series of ISV forums and
technology forums. These forums that were conducted over the last few months to
enable Oracle India's key ISV partners in the mid-market segment offer the
solutions developed on Oracle techno-logies to prospects and custo-mers in a
cost effective, scalable and highly available manner.

The release further stated that this seven-city summit will provide Oracle's
ISVs and customers a platform to come together and discuss the solutions offered
by these ISVs on the Oracle platforms for the mid-market, namely Database 10g
Standard Edi-tion, Database 10g Standard Edition One and Application Server 10g
Standard Edition. 

The summits will also pro-vide an opportunity for the ISVs to interact
face-to-face with Oracle's mid market cus-tomers and better understand their
requirements. Some ISVs and partners who will partici-pate in these summits are
Path Infotech, QSoft Systems and Solutions, Rapid Effect Tech-nology, Chenab,
Netguru India, IVL India, Eastern Software Systems, Clover Technologies, Spider
Systems and Relational Technologies.
