New Delhi: Redington India is the recent addition to the Oracles Partner Network in India. Oracle has appointed Redington as its national value added distributor (VAD) to market, sell and implement Oracle applications and technology products through its reseller network, spread across multiple cities throughout India.
In the first phase, Redington will engage 300 resellers from Jaipur, Bhopal, Indore, Lucknow, Baroda, Surat, Nashik, Kolhapur, Cochin, Ranchi and Dehradun to serve customers in industries like auto ancillaries, chemicals, consumer goods, engineering and construction, non-banking financial services, industrial manufacturing, pharma, media and entertainment, professional services including IT/ITeS, real estate, retail, travel and transportation including logistics, gems and jewelery, among others.
As part of the agreement, Redington will market the Oracle e-business suite, global business applications, Oracle Database and Oracle Database Options as well as Oracle Fusion Middleware.
In addition, Redington's resellers will gain access to resources and tools within the Oracle's online resource pool from Oracle Partner Network.
Through this agreement and to address mid-size customer demands for affordable and quick-to-deploy software applications, Redington's resellers will be able to provide customers with Oracle Database, Oracle Accelerate for Mid-size companies and Oracle Fusion Middleware solutions.
Oracle Fusion Middleware will enable enterprises, including mid-size companies, to create and run agile and intelligent business applications. In addition, they will maximize IT efficiency by exploiting modern hardware and software architectures.
