Back in 2015, Xiaomi's first smart shoes were launched that could track wearers' steps and give important information about collected data. Now, the Chinese tech company has launched another pair of smart shoes, powered by an Intel processor.
Dubbed 90 Minutes Ultra Smart Sportswear, the shoes are powered by Intel's button-sized Curie module. With a claimed battery life of 60 days, the shoes can track activities such as walking, running and climbing. Based on the collected data, they can provide compiled results regarding distance travelled, overall speed and calories burnt in the process.
Xiaomi's smart shoes come with air cushions, anti-skid features, arch-designed soles and antibacterial insoles. They will be available in Black and Surf Blue colors (for men), and Black and Pink colors (for women). There is also a special Blue edition that glows in the dark.
The shoes can be pre-ordered from Mi Home's China website and shipping will start from April 15. They are priced at CNY 300, or approximately Rs 2,800.
