Nortech opens SAP training academy in Kerala

Apart from direct training in academy, the company has also partnered with different universities and premium institutions to boost the ERP knowledge and employability of the students

Nortech Infonet's subsidiary Nortech Education has partnered with SAP India and opened an academy to train students in SAP software. The academy will enroll 20 students per batch and get trained by SAP certified professionals. Nortech is also a SAP implementation partner and therefore, training would come handy.

Apart from direct training in academy, the company has also partnered with different universities and premium institutions to boost the ERP knowledge and employability of the students in places like Periyar Maniammai University, ICWAI, TKM institute of management, MACFAST, Marian College, Holy Grace Academy of Management studies amongst others.

Nortech's partnership includes SAP Business One ERP and SAP Business Objects software. This collaboration with SAP is aimed at enabling students to gain access to and work on industry-leading software. The initiative is to enhance the employability of fresh graduates across various industries and upgrade the skills of existing employees.

Announcing this partnership, Benley Noronha, MD, Nortech Infonet said, "We are glad to be an academic training partner for SAP Software in India. Advanced tools such as ERP software are essential in preparing our students for the challenges they will face in an increasingly complex global economy. We are confident that the industry will find SAP-certified graduates from these colleges immensely employable."

He further added, "Our main focus is still on the training in universities programs as we have already created our niche in the market. We charge depending upon the demand and certain factors. However, we have planned to charge Rs 50,000 plus taxes for our direct academy training."

With the introduction of SAP software training in tier-2 and tier-3 city colleges in Kerala, the company is also planning to extend itself across geographies in the near future.
