"We do not believe in having fancy designations. Instead the whole
committee must be strong. This year at the AGM, we have discussed on making our
two arbitration committees more active, which was developed to look into
specific problems within the dealer community and also between dealers and
users," said Sharad Mishra, member of CAN.

The association has been able to resolve around three cases in the dealer
community till now. It also plans to hold social events like blood donation
camps and increase interaction among the members. Presently, CAN have 125
members and plans to increase it to 175. In fact, the association has a family
meet-ing every year for its mem-bers. CAN annual exhibition is held every two
years and it plans to hold it this year also.

"We also plan to take up vendor issues, like for eg, last year we had
taken up the issue with Satyam which was related to margins and problems with
channel partners and this was resolved," added Mishra.

products like motherboards, conducted by D-Link and also other vendors like HP
and Canon. There were also workshops on personality development for channel
partners. In fact on May 8, we are having a meeting, where like the other
associations, we will be bringing out a common price list for comprehensive and
non comprehensive AMC’s."
