In the last meeting, CIITA passed a resolution related to the national distributor's policy which is poised to play an instrumental role in the ongoing conflict between North-East IT Traders Association (NECTA) and Rashi Peripherals. NECTA initiated the framework for the national distributor policy which was upheld and later taken up by CIITA at their conference in Guwahati.

"The last CIITA meeting was very fruitful, as well as crucial where key decisions pertaining to channel trade were discussed in details and a common opinion was framed related to the ND policy. I hope in the next meeting in Siliguri, other key trade issues will be taken up," Dhar concluded.
