ASRock debuts AMD X870/E motherboards lineup
ASRock has announced the launch of its latest AMD X870 and X870E motherboards, expanding its portfolio with offerings tailored to various user segments, from overclocking enthusiasts and content creators to streamers and budget-conscious builders.
Leading the series is the X870E Taichi OCF, ASRock's first OC Formula board for AMD platforms. It features a robust 22+2+1 phase VRM design, a server-grade PCB, and support for PCIe 5.0 across two M.2 slots. With advanced memory layout and rich I/O including USB4 ports, it's designed for extreme overclockers and performance seekers.
For creators, the X870 Taichi Creator caters to professional needs with 10GbE and 5GbE dual networking, dual Gen5 M.2 slots, and support for dual GPUs via spaced PCIe 5.0 x16 slots. Four Ultra USB Power ports ensure low-noise power for sensitive audio peripherals.
The X870 NOVA WiFitargets high-end gamers, featuring an 18+2+1 VRM, 8-layer PCB, dual PCIe Gen5 M.2 slots, and 36W PD 3.0 fast charging via Type-C. It promises top-tier gaming without the premium cost.
Meanwhile, the X870 LiveMixer WiFi focuses on streamers, offering a striking 25 USB ports (including USB4), dual PCIe x4 slots, 5GbE LAN, and enhanced USB power delivery for audio gear and capture devices.
Rounding out the range is the X870 Pro-A WiFi, a budget-friendly yet powerful board equipped with a 16+2+1 VRM design, WiFi 7, and dual USB4 ports. It balances affordability and performance, ideal for general-purpose and gaming setups.
