Adobe launches AI-Driven upgrades across creative cloud suite

Adobe has announced a major update across its Creative Cloud ecosystem, introducing powerful AI features that aim to transform workflows in Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Firefly. The updates are designed to streamline creative tasks, from photo edits to typography, layout, and brainstorming.

Lightroom: Smarter Editing On-the-Go

Lightroom’s new Quick Actions introduce Scene Enhance, which can detect and apply edits to individual landscape elements like sky, water, and ground. This feature is now available on mobile and web platforms, giving photographers precision editing while on the move.

Also rolling out is an advanced Reflection Removal tool, which uses AI to eliminate window reflections without damaging photo detail. It's available across Lightroom and Camera Raw for non-RAW files. A new Generative Remove function offers one-click people removal, which is ideal for cleaning up distracting backgrounds.

Coming soon are intelligent review tools that use AI to flag sharp images, identify focused eyes, and group similar shots, helping users sort large collections more efficiently.

Photoshop: Revamped Text and Selections

Photoshop introduces Dynamic Text, a feature that auto-adjusts typography to fit any space, allowing designers to fine-tune spacing and layout without manual resizing.

Selection tools get a major lift, too. Cloud-enhanced Select Subject and Remove Background functions now offer faster, more accurate cutouts—especially useful for complex subjects like hair or textured edges.

Illustrator’s new Generative Expand feature allows users to resize vector graphics beyond their original canvas, keeping design elements consistent thanks to Adobe Firefly’s vector model. This is especially useful for creating assets across different platforms or formats.

Performance upgrades promise up to 5x faster rendering for Illustrator’s most-used effects, and the Pencil Tool now includes a live preview for smoother drawing and real-time feedback.

Firefly Boards: Collaborative Ideation Meets AI

Creative Cloud Pro users now have access to Firefly Boards, a new digital canvas for storyboarding, moodboarding, and concept ideation. This collaborative tool allows creators to generate text, images, and videos all in one place.

The latest update introduces model integrations from leading AI providers, including Ideogram, Pika, Luma AI, and Runway. Users can easily switch between models, with clear attribution and no need for separate accounts.
