D-Link introduced a SIP-based solution Network Telephone Excha­nge,
DVX-1000. Addres­sing the VoIP communi­cation requirements of small and medium
enter­prises the DVX-1000 has built-in call server, IVR/auto-attendant, voice
mail and conference functiona­lities. It helps VoIP devices like SIP phones,
gateways etc to make and receive calls, implements host of voice call features
and manages accounts and auto provisioning of D-Link endpoints.

Features

Open standards-based: DVX-1000 is a Linux-based system that uses SIP for
signaling. This makes it interoperable with any SIP standard-based product. This
also gives the custo­mer freedom to select any vendor for future require­ments
and other compo­nents. DVX uses CPL and Voice XML for call control and feature
implementa­tions. This gives more flexibility and enables faster feature
enhancements.

Simple installation: D-Link's Network Tele­p­hone Exchange
requires minimal configuration and setting up can be as easy as connecting the
ethernet and plugging in the VoIP phones.

Easy management: Provi­des a very intuitive and secure web-based
adminis­tration and management inter­face including a con­text sensitive
help. This allows the system adminis­trator to configure all subsystems and
features.

Security: It has a built in firewall, which protects the system
against unautho­rized access.
