Network Programs has launched PBX based call center solution for small and medium sized enterprises 'Net PBX'. It is an intelligent PC-based system that has been designed specifically for the rapidly emerging computer-telephony solutions market.
Net PBX has call control features, which include auto attendant, internal call, call hold, alternate call, call transfer, conference call and call forwarding. Some other features include speed dial, call blocking, outbound trunk call, consultation call, call monitoring and transmission and reception of fax.
Rajesh Handu, Director (Business Development), Network Programs said, "PBX based call center works the same way as the other call centers. It is specifically made for those who do not need a full fledged set-up of a call center."
This PC based system also works on the company's Net relation suite, the software which helps to automate call processing and customer care services with the flexibility that helps customize it to one's exact requirements--whether its for in-bound use or as an out-bound call center. It also enables on-line clientele to link up directly by the click of a mouse.
Net PBX has external interfaces, which include TSAPI interface for CTI applications. Net PBX talks to Net Relations using this interface to provide contact center solutions. It has 240 ports through which 120 agents can receive and send calls at the same time. Other interfaces are Analog and digital trunk lines (from PSTN) and Analog station extensions (POTS)
It is based on Intel architecture and works on PIII server, requiring Windows platform. The company is expecting 100 installations this year in India. The company would sell this solution through its resellers.
The company generated revenue of $14m last and is expecting revenue of $20m this year. And is a global corporation providing software solutions and services to clients dealing in leading edge technology areas such as telecommunications, networking technologies and E-solutions.
