NetSavvy launches IDM 3.0

NetSavvy Solutions, a 50:50 joint venture of HDFC and Singapore-based SolutionNet, has recently launched Intelligent Data Mapper version 3.0 (IDM 3.0) in the market. Intelligent Data Mapper is a messaging middleware which can communicate with any back-end database platform and helps to convert and transfer data for integration of various applications. "The new version IDM 3.0 is a robust solution ideal for any industry which needs to communicate with various platforms in the business process," said Atul Shah, Deputy CEO, NetSavvy Solutions Ltd.

NetSavvy is a software product development company mainly for banking industry and has four main products namely Enet, IDM, eInsurance and EMI. "The earlier version of IDM was more appropriate for banks only, but the new IDM 3.0 comes with various adapters such as XML adapter, ERP, Swift and ISO 8583 format which make the product ideal for any industry segment like manufacturing, distribution, banking and financial, and other service industry," said PB Sreekumar, Vice President, NetSavvy Solution Ltd.

IDM 3.0 can work on both dedicated WAN and dial-up connections, and can interact with any back-end applications in online and batch mode. The product comes with server license and client license where server license varies between Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 2 lakh and client license between Rs 20,000 to Rs 50,000 (per seat) based on the module requirements.

NetSavvy's Enet is an Internet banking software for both corporate and retail businesses. It is a front-end solution.

"eInsurance is our other product designed for insurance industry to link agents and customers in the network," he said. The company also has a product for medical industry called EMI (Electronic Medical Information).
