Intel announced its partnership with Netmagic Solutions for its Business

Exchange Program, the online technology marketplace for SMBs, resellers, ISVs

and application providers in the IT managed services space. Intel's Business

Exchange (Intel BX) is a program that assists solution providers to bid for

customer businesses that focus on SMBs, integrating offerings with bundled

software and hardware, and stand-alone business applications. The program

facilitates shoppers to research products and services, request quotes, and

connect with solution providers to speed the identification, selection and

implementation of technology they need to run their businesses.

With this alliance, Netmagic will be India's first managed services provider

to be associated with Intel BX. Talking about the partnership, Sharad Sanghi,CEO

and MD, Netmagic Solutions said, “Netmagic is pleased to be associated with a

company of Intel's stature. This alliance will enable us to reach out to the

large registered base of Intel BX, which also comprises of ISVs, application

providers and resellers. As the first Indian managed IT services provider to

partner with Intel BX, we intend to leverage our leadership in the marketplace

to reach out to millions of Intel BX users. Managed IT services dramatically

reduce costs for any organization and also allow them to focus on their core

competencies.”

Narendra Bhandari, Director-APAC, Software and Solutions Group Intel said,

“Intel BX is a community-enabled website with resources such as product

descriptions, interactive demonstrations, white-papers, case studies, blog

entries and user-submitted product ratings and reviews. The sole focus of this

business alliance is to help SMBs and other professionals find answers to their

toughest business challenges. Through this alliance we are happy to provide our

customers the benefits that Netmagic can offer by virtue of being a leading

managed IT services provider.”

Customers can avail solutions tailor made to their needs, through the

Netmagic Dedicated Server Plan, hence doing away with the need to invest in

buying infrastructure, opting for the pay-as-you-use or monthly rental model

instead. In addition to this, they can also use the Netmagic cloud computing

services.

Netmagic will also allow ISVs and application providers to service their

customers by helping them choose hosting options through the SaaS model. This

alliance with Intel will also benefit the reseller community as it will allow

them to add another business to their existing portfolio through the Netmagic

partner program. This is the latest business alliance with a high profile

company for Netmagic which in the past has had tie ups with companies like HP

and Sun Microsystems.
