Netgear Technologies India is organizing a 15-city technical training program
for its systems integrators (SIs). Starting from Kolkata on Feb 18, 2008, the
program will cover the entire Indian geography, in a phased manner. The 15
cities will include three locations in the East, four in the West, four in the
North and four in the South.
The 15-city technical training aims to update the SIs about the user
friendliness, scalability and adaptability of Netgear products. The training
also seeks to update the SIs on how to enhance profitability by consistently
engaging with the customers and understanding their pain-points. It also seeks
to appoint new SIs and baptize them with the Netgear ease-of-use features. In
addition, the training sessions will also underline the Netgear products and
solutions roadmap in India.
Atul Jain, Country Manager-India and SAARC, Netgear said, “This training
session will strengthen our commitment to the current SIs, add up new ones and
help them get acquainted with our current and new product portfolios effectively
and profitably.”
Netgear will train the SIs as to how they can act as consultants to the
customers in terms of protecting their investment while scaling up with Netgear
solutions. As security is the major concern for the industry, these sessions
will provide hands-on training on Netgear Firewalls and Wireless Access points.
Besides, the events will also see introductions of new emerging technologies for
home and SOHO.
Jain added, “This training will indeed boost the channel partners in
architecting better network for their customer, and creating scope to enhance
their bottom line for themselves.”
Netgear products are distributed in India through their authorized
distributors-Cyberstar Infocom, Ingram Micro and Rashi Peripherals.
