Netgear stepping in to tap North East market

Although quite a late entrant in the North East market, Netgear has finally decided to enter the North East which bears unbeatable potential. The Eastern region is the fastest growing region for the firm. "I am personally familiar with this market and coming here is like meeting old friends, which I really having many here. Ultimately we aim to establish north east as an independent geography reporting directly to India management. For all this to happen we have to expand the business fast here, and I must add that there is ample potential for this," adds Bhattacharya. In an exclusive interview with Bhattacharya who was on a visit to Kolkata on 25th April 2014 to discuss about his plans for expanding footprints in the North East market said that SMBs are looking for competent and reliable technology which is easy to deploy backed up by a strong support network. These are all easily deployable by the customers and Netgear's partners are trained to help the customers achieve the desired level of IT readiness.
