NETGEAR fortifies its service capability

kick-started its
second service center at Lamington Road, Mumbai. As there has been a
tremendous growth in the sales for NETGEAR products in Mumbai and
west region, it was natural for the company to have one more service
center. The objective of NETGEAR is to stay close to the customers so
that they get hassle-free service and do not add pressure to the
sales points. Of course this initiative is an ongoing process and as
the days passes the company will more and more fortify its service
capability.

On this occasion, Atul
Jain, country manager, NETGEAR Technologies, said, “NETGEAR has
always believed in customers' satisfaction. We already have a
service center in Mumbai. And further to make customers'
satisfaction paramount, we are introducing second service center at
Lamington Road, which is the IT hub of Mumbai. An additional service
center would certainly enhance the confidence of customers on NETGEAR
products though we have emerged as a strong brand among the SME
networking market space.”

The commencement of the
second service center at the Lamington Road will enable NETGEAR
distributors and channel partners to have an additional advantage and
to focus more on the business.

The new service center
will support the entire range of NETGEAR products sold in India, in
terms of addressing replacement and warranty issues. Besides, the
center will enable NETGEAR to limit the TAT to 24—48 hours.
However, the time span could vary depending upon the product
availability and geographies. Further, the service center is
operational from June 1, 2011.
