Net4India launches WLAN products

Net4India has launched its range of WLAN products for the market. Driving on
the services platform for long, this is the announcement into an array of
hardware products to be offered soon.Net4India plans to expand its product range
in the near

 future to more IP based communica-tion devices. The products launched
incl-ude 802.11b WLAN Hot Sp-ot AP, 802.11b High Power Access Point, 802.11b
Wireless USB adapter, 802.11b high power PCMCIA Card, N4I-WG2310CP Wireless PCI
Card and 802.11b high power WLAN Router.

According to the press release, the distribution of the WLAN products will be
done through the appointment of System Integrators (SIs). About 20 SIs have been
appointed in Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai and Chennai in the current round. It
further plans to appoint more partners in 11 more cities in the coming months.
The SIs will be responsible for selling the products to end customers and
resellers.

According to Jasjit Sawhney, CEO, Net4India, "We have appointed SIs as
our partners to provide service and support for the current and future range of
hardware products. We exp-ect to build long term relationships with our partners
by enhancing their profitability thro-ugh bundling of products and
services."

The company further plans to export these products and has already begun
initiatives on the same. "Countries such as Israel, Canada and UK are
already buying WLAN products from us. We expect a significant international
business as demand for these products booms over the next year and beyond,"
added Sawhney.
