Neoteric launches Umax Astra 5400, 3450 scanners

Neoteric has announced the launch of Umax Astra 5400, a high-resolution scanner with 1200 x 2400 dpi and the Umak Astra 3450 scanner. While the Umax Astra 5400 targets the SOHO and SME segment, the Astra 3450 is suited for home, work and school.

Offering USB connectivity for faster scanning and hot swap capability, both the Umax Astra scanners provide easy scans--at the touch of a button, one can scan, save, print and email images and documents. Equipped with a 42-Bit color output, the Umax Astra scanners produce sharp and accurate scans. The transparency cover in the Umax Astra 3450 enables users to scan slides, film and other transparent material. The user-friendly software helps Astra users to easily organize images and
documents.

Sleek, light and remarkably fast, features of the Umax Astra scanners include excellent image technology thanks to MagicMatch and Kodak color management system and a Hot-Plug with Mac and PC compatibility.
