Neeraj Sharma is MD, Lenovo, South Asia

Neeraj Shar-ma who was VP, personal computing division in IBM India has been
appoin-ted as the MD of Lenovo, South Asia (India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal
and Bhutan).

The newly appointed MD of the South Asia operations at Lenovo, Sharma, said
that the company would con-tinue to sell its products under the ThinkPad (for
laptops) and ThinkCentre (for desktop) brands. "We will innovate in
technology and cost.

The new company will be more PC focused," he said, adding that the
company will be launching new products, mainly in the consumer space. Sharma in
his new role would be responsible for the overall operations of Lenovo in South
Asia, including manufacturing in India.
