Navision, global provider of integrated business solutions for SMEs, would
launch later this year a series of quality online business services called
Navision Virtual Integration Process (Navision VIP), that all Navision customers
can access directly from within their Navision application.

Navision will distribute this software via its global network of over 2,400
partners. The initial services include both online services and hosted
applications and range from currency exchange, address look-up and credit check
to hosted applications for payroll, mobile order management and product
catalogues.

As the concept is introduced in more countries, Navision will extend the
available set of services. Online services available through Navision have been
selected based on the needs of small to medium-sized companies.

The services are provided by trusted partners in a secure environment.
Navision customers can continuously extend functionality by signing up to new
services via a Navision service portal.

The portal consolidates online service sign-up, usage, billing and payment
through a single site from a trusted supplier. The Internet offers access to a
variety of online services, such as address look-ups and newspaper currency
conversion.

Navision customers no longer have to trawl the Internet in search of
relevant, top quality online services spend time and money integrating them or
worry about costly upgrades or security. This concept will be gradually extended
to cover other Navision products as well as reach out to Navision customers in
additional geographies starting with the US and Germany.

Through an integration broker, Navision customers can choose and connect to
pre-screened online services and hosted applications that are relevant for their
business. Before subscribing to a service, the customer views and evaluates the
services they need. Once they have subscribed to the service, they can monitor
and manage the services they use all via a service portal provided by Navision.

The customer can then retrieve, save and use the data and information
received from the services directly from within their Navision application.

“By delivering fully integrated online business services that are relevant
to our customers' needs, Navision defines Web services, not as a vague promise
for the future but as a real solution with real benefits that our customers can
take advantage of here,” said Yash Nagpal, MD, Navision India.
