Mumbai based Trade Association of Information Technology (TAIT) and MAIT has jointly organised National Conclave of IT and Electronics Manufacturing on 24th April, 2015 in Mumbai. The event which is supported by the government of Maharashtra aims to highlight and discuss various opportunities coming up with the “Make in India” initiative.
K R Chaube, president of TAIT said, “The objective of the national conclave is to encourage and motivate channel partners, System Integrators, Solution providers and SMEs to explore business opportunities in the manufacturing segment.”
Subhash Desai, Minister of Industries, Government Of Maharashtra, Dr. Ajay Kumar, Joint Secretary, Department of Electronics & IT, Ministry of Communication & IT, New Delhi, Amarendra Sinha, Additional Secretary & Development Commissioner (MSME), Ministry of MSME, New Delhi, Dr. Ajay Kumar –Joint Secretary, DEITY, Virendra Singh – Director – IT, Govt. of Maharashtra will be participating in the event. Chaube said that chief minister Devendra Fadnavis is also likely to participate in the event.
Chaube said that the event would be an opportunity for the participants to understand government’s policy on IT. He that by participating in this event, partners will get opportunity to interact with the officials of the state IT department and raise their issues with them.
Around 100 partners and SIs are expected to participate in the event.
