Naresh Wadhwa quits Cisco

Naresh Wadhwa, president and country manager of Cisco India and Saarc has put in his papers, confirms Cisco India. The company is expected to make a formal announcement of his departure soon. Wadhwa's action has been in the offing for some time now. However, the official reason has not been revealed as yet.

Naresh Wadhwa, an industry veteran of 22 years, joined Cisco India in January 1998 and served in several roles, since.

As part of the core team that helped nurture Cisco's presence in the country, Wadhwa led the sales and relationship building efforts for key business verticals.

He has however spoken to Dataquest on his future plans of starting his own venture in the infrastructure and technology space.
