Nagpur METRO reveals new plans @ Compex-25 2017

VCMDWA’s oraganised Compex-25 2017, 12th-16th January, the much awaited IT Expo was inaugurated at by the Chief Guest Brijesh Dixit, Chairman & Managing Director, Nagpur Metro Rail Corporation Ltd., in the presence of the Guest of Honour Sonu Kewalramani, Super Distributor, Intex Mobile. Lighting the traditional lamp, Brijesh Dixit formally inaugurated the 25th edition of Compex-25 2017. Also present on the dais were the office bearers of VCMDWA Rajesh Saboo, President, Dinesh Naidu, Secretary and Vinay Dhamadhikari, Vice President, Prashant Bulbule, Treasurer and Ranjit Umate, Joint Secretary.

The guests were welcomed by Rajesh Saboo and Vinay Dharmadhikari with floral bouquet while Dinesh Naidu introduced Compex-25 2017, the event to the people and also conducted the proceedings. During the ceremony, the Click IT Directory was also released at the hands of the dignitaries.

In his address Brijesh Dixit commended VCMDWA members for organizing the event for 25 long years stating that generation has changed and Compex has become an integral part of Nagpur and has actually become the DNA of Nagpur City.

Dixit introduced people with the ambitious 5 D Building Information, which is the first in India, and is completely based on Digital Project Management platform. This technology works on complete Project Management system that will help the city save time, maintain quality, safety and help in effective maintenance, which in turn will save a lot of public money.

He also informed the people that Nagpur Metro is starting with an IT card system for fare collection which will be a part of digital India cashless transaction system and NMC has been involved in this through an MOU. Going a step further, Nagpur Metro has put up a signaling system which will run on CBTC Automatic system and will no longer require manned signal facility.

Devendra Fadnavis, Hon. Chief Minister, Maharashtra State has consented to grace the occasion. Chief Minister was gracious in accepting the invitation from Compex and agreed to visit the expo. Besides the Chief Minister, other significant guest would be Shri Deepankar Bose, Chief General Manager, State Bank of India.

While he was the Chief Guest for the Valedictory function at last year’s CompEx, he had shared about the government initiatives especially like the Aaple Sarkar initiative and the online submission, scrutiny and sanction of building plans primarily to eliminate human intervention and bottle necks. While Aaple Sarkar initiative is already introduced, the online building plan sanction initiative has been cleared and announced just a few days back.
