Mysore: Karnataka state association formed

It was a dream-come-true for every single channel partner in Karnataka. The much-expected formation of the state IT association was formed at Mysore recently.

More than 600 members across the state representing associations from Bengaluru, Mysore, Manglore, Hubli, Bagalkot, Belgaum, Shimoga and Gulburga participated in the meeting. As a special guest, Muthiah Pillai, president, and B Kuberan, Former president, Confed-ITA, also participated in the meeting. In the meeting, Anand Rao Balluru, assumed office as the charted president of the association named as FITDAK (Federation of Information Technology Dealers Association- Karnataka) along with his other office bearers.

Speaking on the occasion, Anand Rao said that his premier concern is to motivate dealers and start associations in the districts where associations are not present. "On the lines of the Confed-ITA in Tamil Nadu, we are also forming this and hope in the coming years, we will get more and more active participation in the years", he said.

The meeting was found more vibrant and many dealers who participated in the event came along with their families Gifts and prices including silver slabs, free goodies & other entertainment programs were the sidelights of the event.

B.Kuberan, Former president who currently handles the external affairs of Confed-ITA, who was also the numero uno behind motivating associations in the neighboring states to form a state-association, said, "I really appreciate the Karnataka dealers for forming the association and the participation of the dealers in Karnataka was very impressive. This event did not look like the organizing comittie has organized for the first time"
