The N9600GT graphics card series offers three selections for users to choose
from: N9600GT Diamond, N9600GT-T2D2G, and N9600GT Hybrid Freezer
MSI unveiled its latest high-end N9800 and N9600 series graphics cards as
well as the power-saving technology at this year's Computex. Featuring the
Hybrid Freezer technology, the N9600GT opens a world for gamers and powerful
performance for 3D applications.
The N9600GT graphics card series offers three selections for users to choose
from: N9600GT Diamond, N9600GT-T2D2G, and N9600GT Hybrid Freezer. These graphics
cards are based on 65nm Nvidia 9700GT GPU and include 64 stream processors, and
DDR memory on 256-bit memory interface. It also supports technology such as
Nvidia SLI Technology with PCI-Express 2.0 interface for blistering graphics
performance.
The N9600GT Hybrid Freezer comes with the 'Hybrid Freezer' cooling technology
that saves power. The Hybrid Freezer cooling technology has a built-in fan
interior fan for temperature control and utilizes 6mm thick heat pipes for
effective thermal conductivity. When the temperature reaches 40 degrees, the fan
starts rotating and quickly disperses the heat. When the temperature drops to 40
degrees, the fan automatically stop. The heat pipes and fins remove the heat
from the GPU. Compared to the 5mm, which is usually used in heat pipes, the 6mm
thick heat pipes offer 20 percent more conducting power and provide the most
efficient radiation speed.
The high-end N9600GT Diamond is equipped with the latest DrMOS chipset.
Merged with Driver IC, TOP MOSFET and LOW-MOSFET, the DrMOS is developed to
provide power efficiency. N9600GT Diamond also provides complete connection
ports, including the latest HDMI, Dual-link DVI, SPDIF ports and so on. In
addition, the latest GreenPower Center not only monitors the temperature,
frequency and fan speed of graphics card, but also allows user to set the
overclocking easily. Users can overclock the hardware to operate at extreme
performance.
MSI also unveiled two new models in its high-end N9800 series -
N9800GTX-T2D512 and N9800GX2-M2D1G. The N9800GTX-T2D512 is based on the latest
Nvidia GeForce GPU and 128 stream processors, and also support 512MB/256-bit
GDDR3 memory which offer full-throttle gaming experience at extreme HD
resolutions. The N9800GTX-T2D512 is on the path of total 'Green Technology',
towards energy conservation and environmental protection. With Nvidia's Hybrid
Power technology, it allows users to turn off the discrete GPU when it is not
being used, saving more energy and resources.
