MS offers new range of input devices

Microsoft Home and Entertainment Division has unveiled its new range of wired
multimedia optical desk-tops (multimedia keyboards and optical mice) and
multi-media keyboards, designed to offer greater functionality and ease-of-use
for the discerning PC user. The new product range is priced starting Rs 750 for
a multimedia keyboard and optical mouse combo and will be available for PC users
through the Microsoft net-work of 6300+ resellers across more than 80 cities.

According to the press release, in order to acquaint its channel partners
with the new product range and provide in-depth product information and
training, Microsoft is conducting 15-city road shows across India.

The new product range is available in Black and White color options. The
multi-media keyboard gives users full-fledged multimedia center hot keys in
addition to hot keys such as one-touch access to e-mail, the Web, and the freq-uently
used Microsoft Wind-ows features they use most.

The new range will have keyboards and mice available in retail combo packs as
well as stand alone retail packs. The products come with three-year replacement
warranty.
