New Delhi, Oct 17
New Delhi-based Mron International, importer of UPS, webcams,
keyboards and other computer accessories who ventured into the North market in
March this year is now looking at expanding and is eyeing the southern market.
The company will start its operation in Chennai first and will thereafter
enter Vishakapatnam and Secunderabad.
Mron has decided to begin its business in Chennai by end of
November. The company is in dialogues with few distributors in the region and
the selected names will be formally announced by November 15. It has decided to
sign-up 25 dealers in the southern sphere.
"Currently we are in dialogues with distributors in
South and will formally announce the names by November 15. We are new in the
market so we have to take care of the competition around us. However, we have
marked 66 percent growth in the last two quarters so we are confident that the
southern market will respond well like the North," said Umesh Garg, MD,
Mron International.
Elaborating on his strategies to beat the growing competition
with local as well as global companies, Garg further said that the two important
criteria to attract the customer are good quality and moderate pricing as per
industry standard and Mron will follow the same to increase its marketshare.
Considering the increasing cost of shipment of the products
from New Delhi to southern region, Mron is also planning to open a warehouse in
Wasai, Maharastra that will take care of the supply in South as well as the
western market.
"The warehouse will be constructed in the next two
months," informed Garg
