Manish
Goyal was unanimously elected as the President of Indore based
for the fourth consecutive time. The elections took place on the May
15. He was elected unopposed by 130 plus members of the association .
The other office bearers include VP (1) Sumeet Gupta of Ontrack
Systems, VP (2) Ritesh Jhawar of Computer House, Secretary Raghvendra
Tripathi of Hard N Soft, Jt Secretary Mahesh Bajaj of Bajaj Computers
and Treasurer Manjeet Singh Chabra of Chhabra Computer Shoppe.
Competition was only seen in the election of Executive Committee
members. Seven people contested for the available four posts in the
Executive Committee. The winners were Jagdish Mantri of Apex Computers,
BS Bhati of Friends Computer Consultancy, Pankaj Jain of Streamline and
Rajdeep of Saitech Systems.
After the election, the President shared his agenda with The DQ Week.
He said, “We have the issue of reducing profitability at hand, which we
want to sort that out at the earliest. This year, we will try to bring
the dealers of Indore and Madhya Pradesh on the same platform and
resolve the issues we face in the IT market . Like every year, we will
continue to organize our premier event
FONOCOM and initiatives like Manthan,” said Goyal.
Elections were held in the presence of the election committee
consisting of Vaibhav Nagori and Manoj Ajmera, the Chairman and
co-Chairman of the Nomination Committee respectively.
