RPG connects 45 cities
RPG has announced its RPG Cellular and Wings services in 45 cities of the states of Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh. As per the information by company resources that the company would soon add six more cities to its service list. The company has an investment of Rs 100-crore in the states and would further strengthen its network in Bhopal, Gwalior, Indore, Jabalpur and Raipur. RPG is the only company that has provided messenger and regional-roam service in the state.

Digvijay Singh, CM, MP recently launched the website (www.weavesandcrafts.com) of Gramodyog Department at Madhya Pradesh Utsav in Dilli Haat in New Delhi. He released a cassette on Maheshwar sarees prepared by Madhya Pradesh Handicrafts Development Corporation.
Website on poverty alleviation
A website and a newsletter of the World Bank-funded Indira Gandhi Garibi Hatao Yojna-poverty alleviation programs-was released at a function. The scheme, launched at the beginning of this fiscal year in the state, identifies the poorest of the poor target beneficiaries through Gram Sabhas. The World Bank has pledged Rs 500 crore for the scheme over a period of five years, while the community and the State Government would contribute an additional Rs 100 crore, the spokesperson informed. Gauri Singh, Project Coordinator said that the project was running in 2001 villages of 47 blocks of 14 districts, benefiting 181 common interest groups.
B2B website by BHEL
BHEL recently launched its B2B website through, which the sub-suppliers of the organization to reap the benefits of online and real time information, transparency, cost and time saving, reduction of paper and energy usage. SN Roy, ED, BHEL, while inaugurating the website exhorted sub-vendors to use this site to the maximum as it will speed up the communication between both the parties. Through this website, the sub-suppliers can find out the status of the purchase inquiries, order details, bill passing and payment details.
New ATMs by IDBI
As a part of its expansion drive, IDBI Bank has opened two Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) in two different places of the city. P Swaminathan, CEO, Bharti Telenet and KV Chandrasekhara, GM, IDBI Bank inaugurated the ATMs. Iswar Agasti, Regional Head, (Retail Banking) West, said the bank had a plan to open 385 ATMs across India by the end of the current fiscal. The bank will open two more ATMs in Bhopal and four more in Indore. It has to open 38 more branches across India to touch a digit of 100. The bank would soon open its branch in Indore, and another branch in January end or February.
