MP association to hold IT expo in Jan

Madhya Pradesh IT and Telecom Association (MPIT&TA) is planning to conduct an
IT expo in January 2008 in Indore. The association has been organizing the expo
for the last seven years. This time they are planning a different set-up so that
visitors get a different feel of the fair. This apart, they are also planning to
change the name of the expo from 'Fonocom' to something different.

“We want to give an entirely new look to the fair so that visitors do not
take it as a repetitive event.

We want to make it an exciting show. Lots of things are yet to be finalized.
We will chalk out the final program soon,” commented Manish Goyal, President,
MPIT&TA.

For some reason, the association was unable to organize the expo that was
scheduled to take place in December this year.

When asked about the details of vendors participating in the expo, Goyal
clarified that the list has not yet been prepared and it will take some time for
the members to finalize the list.

He also added that the expo would be organized in such a way that the
visitors get a better feel of the products and will be imparted information
about the new products and technology so that they could make a better buying
decision.
