Moving towards new horizon amidst growth stunting factors of East

The eastern India is often considered as not so interesting market. This is mainly because of the migration of the headquarters to other metros as most of the decision making takes place is Mumbai and Delhi, while Kolkata handles only the execution part. For Kolkata based Somentics, a brand name in Imaging Informatics, pitching its products and services to the right person with the right approach has always been a challenge, especially when it comes to new potential leads, because the executives and representatives deployed in Kolkata are not the main decision makers.

Secondly, the western part of the country has a rich variety of enterprises. Most IT hubs are located in the southern and Deccan belt. The manufacturing industry is booming in the northern belt. Lack of corporate richness and variety in the eastern part is a major deterrent when it comes to business expansion. As a result the scope of identifying potential leads gets easily saturated here.
