Monsoon mania for Xerox channel partners

In keeping with the monsoon spirit, Xerox Modicorp Ltd has announced two new
schemes- 'Best Returns' and 'Khelo Laser Khelo' for its channel
partners. As a part of this program, Xerox will reward channel partners for
their performance during the period July 1 to September 30, 2004 for the sale of
its Phaser models (monochrome and color laser printers), depending on the units
sold.

While Best Returns focu-ses exclusively on rewarding channel partners for
every Xerox Phaser 3121 they sell, 'Khelo Laser Khelo' enco-mpasses an
extensive range of Xerox Phasers (Phaser 3130, Phaser 3420, Phaser 3450, Phaser
4500, Phaser 5400, Phaser N4525, Phaser 6100, Phaser 6200, Phaser 6250, Phaser
7300 and Pha-ser 7750) and rewards chan-nel partners on the points that they
earn.

Outlining the rationale behind these schemes, Raj-esh Kumar, Marketing
Mana-ger- OPB, Xerox Modicorp said, "Schemes such as these reiterate our
commitment to our channel partners who are the foundation of our business. The
schemes give partners an opportunity to earn assured margins per product in
addition to their normal margins and since it covers an extensive range of
products, partners have an excellent opportunity to make greater profits as they
sell more units."
