OPDC is a plug and play self-contained data center on the organization's own premises (coming from a single vendor) without the associated capex. Reduced power consumption and cooling requirements and no AMCs help organizations achieve this and maintain a low opex as well.

The increase in adoption of cloud based technologies has witness emergence of many players. NxtGen is one of the fast growing services provider vendor. Such events helps educate partners on various platforms and solutions. Meher Pophali, director, Micropro Software Solutions said, "The information shared with us is relevant and the solutions are definitely in demand these days. The only confusion we face, which one to choose from as the pricing amongst most of the vendors, are competitive. Also, the differentiating factor are value adds only. Indeed we have some experience in this area but there is a lot of learning to be done."

In the market like Nagpur, where there are no major industries around and pronged challenges with at every step. The new breed of technology and solutions around it opens up newer avenues for partners. Naresh Ghormare of Compu-Link said, "This market will definitely see good traction for single rack based solutions. This solutions discussed today are relevant to this market and the demand is slowly emerging from different verticals." Adding to this, Shrinivas Choudhary of Datawise said, "The solutions showcased today with regards to timeliness are appropriate and we are definitely looking at these solutions. The Nagpur market does not have a huge industrial cluster in and around it, which makes it difficult for us to sell these in to this market. But there is potential in certain areas like government, education and smaller industries/ companies in this area." Similar opinion was shared by Mathew George Thoduka of Simi Electronics.

Like every other market, even Nagpur has its share of challenges. Highlighting some interesting pointers, P S Deshmukh of Dattatray Systems said, "The solutions in discussion today are seeing traction in this market, however, as most of the banks and bigger organizations have their head offices in other cities, it becomes difficult for us to bag big deals in this market. The other avenues are government and educational institutes and some industries around Nagpur. So, we are exploring avenues in this market and also there is learning to be done about new technologies and customized solutions that can be offered to customers." Similar opinion was voiced by Chetan Deshmukh of Lighthouse InfoSystems and Tejeshwar Vyas of B Algo

Commenting on the event, Samir Gharote of Adicom said, "The event was excellent and very informative for me and time spent here was totally worth it."
