Modi Infosol eyes Rs 15 crore from CtrlS business

Delhi based Modi Infosol is aiming at Rs 15 crore revenue from its recent tie up with CtrlS-a tier IV data center company-to distribute its data centers nationally.

Delhi based Modi Infosol is aiming at Rs 15 crore revenue from its recent tie up with CtrlS-a tier IV data center company-to distribute its data centers nationally.

The global market has already moved to data centers and we have observed that Indian market too have followed the same trend, stated Anuj Modi, director, Modi Infosol on reasons for venturing into data center distribution business. He said, "We are bullish on adding it in our business portfolio and are aiming at Rs 15 crore revenues, at the end of October next year."

This move seems to diversify its portfolio, and on this tie-up Modi said, "We feel that both CtrlS and Modi Infosol are growing Indian companies and there is a lot of synergy to take this business to a new level. Also, CtrlS is the largest tier-IV data center in Asia with lot of in-house expertise in cloud offerings, managed services and data center services or SaaS, PaaS and IaaS."

CtrlS offers various services including managed services, server hosting, VPS hosting, disaster recovery, online storage and back up, server collocation and cloud hosting services among others."

Although it has got national rights, the Modi Infosol is focusing on northern and eastern states currently. Modi added, "We are eyeing on Northern and Eastern states to start with but nonetheless we want our presence at every location."

Modi Infosol works currently with 2,500 partners but Modi feels that only a few would be able to leverage the opportunity.

He adds, "The partnership will make select set of partners of Modi Infosol capable of selling Managed Services, Network Services, and other offerings such as Disaster Recovery, Cloud offerings, Messaging solutions among others."
