Minimum service charges implemented in Pollachi

Anaimalai Computer Dealers' Association (ACDA) of Pollachi, implemented minimum service charges after installing the new office bearers. The new team has K. Senthil Rajesh Kumar, CEO, RK Technologies, Pollachi (President), M.Thyagarajan, CEO, Sri Anu Computers (Seceretary) and S.D.Thirunavukkarasu, CEO, Sri Prince Computers (Treasurer). B.Kuberan, President, Confed-ITA, presided over the installation ceremony which was conducted in a river-side resort in Pollachi.
Speaking on the occasion, Kuberan explained the members, the initiatives taken by Confed-ITA during his tenure. Kuberan also touched upon the issues like minimum service charges collected by the members, Maximum retail price, contribution of the associations towards the growth of Confed-ITA. Terming the installation meet a ‘mini-summit', Kuberan insisted that the event was a steer for other enthusiastic associations. There was also a discussion on the problems faced by the dealers hailing from the sub-urban areas of the big cities. The participants raised concerns on the sub-distributors in tier-2 towns, through their retail outlets, selling the same products to the end-customers at the rate which they supply the material for the dealers in the small towns. With the big partners in the tier-2 towns selling product at cheaper rates, the customers think the dealers in the tier-3 towns are cheating them with higher prices. Apart from business, education of the members of the association and social activities were discussed during the meet.
Speaking to ‘The DQ Week', Senthil Rajeshkumar said that his team will conduct minimum 3 training sessions both software and hardware serives though the Confed-ITA funds. He also said that an expo has been planned to be conducted during the festival season. "We have plans to conduct a family get-to-gather and sports activities where not only the owners, but also the employees in the partners' office can participate.", he said further adding "For all the projects implemented by the Confed-ITA, our association will render complete support for the umbrella association." Speaking on the expectations from the vendors, he requested the vendors to roll out schemes exclusively for the small-town partners considering the potential in their region. "We have plans of constructing a state-of-the-art website with all the details of the members and we have already issued ID cards and certificated to members along with a chart which clearly states the services and charges for the services", he further added.
