MindTree in alliance with UMC

Bangalore-based MindTree Consulting has announced a design service alliance with UMC, a world leading semiconductor foundry. According to the agreement, MindTree Consulting will manage the entire chip development process for UMC's customer by offering both front-end and back-end cost-effective solutions to those developing SOC designs.

"Our relationship with UMC will further strengthen our ability to offer turnkey product realization services, which includes enhanced IC design services, IP sourcing and integration," said SN Padmanabhan, VP - Hardware Engineering, MindTree Consulting Pvt Ltd.
