Microtek unveils Intel 845GL motherboards

Microtek International, an IT peripherals company, has launched its new motherboard based on the high speed Intel 845GL chipset architecture The V1MTEK845GL motherboard is built on the MATX form factor and can fit into any standard ATX & MATX cabinet.

This motherboard supports Intel 478 socket for Intel Pentium-4 / Celeron processors. It supports Intel 1.3GHz to 2.4GHz or higher CPUs. It has an on-board integrated sound card AC97, 3 Codec with support for six channels. It also has an on-board integrated Graphics Controller.

The motherboard also supports 2GB of PC 200/266 DDR memory and has two 184 Pin slots. For easy expandability, the motherboard has three PCI slots and one CNR Slot. It also has two ATA/100 connectors where upto four IDE devices can be connected.

Its other features include six USB ports and high speed USB2.0 controller (480mb/sec), one connector for two additional external USB ports, two DB-9 serial ports, one DB-25 parallel port and three ATX power supply connectors.

It comes along with a kit consisting of a HDD Data Cable, FDD Data Cable and a CD containing device drivers. These motherboards are being manufactured under totally antistatic and dust free environment in Microtek's state of the art SMT plant in Delhi and are being marketed through Microtek's over 2500 dealers and resellers spread across the country. This Pentium-4 motherboard is priced at Rs. 6100, exclusive of local taxes.
