Microtek's new motherboard for Intel Pentium processor is based on Intel 845 chipset and the 478-pin P4 processor family comes with SDRAM support. Meanwhile, Microtek has announced a Good Life Club for its channel partners. The Good Life Club offers exciting travel opportunities for absolutely free on achieving the set target points. "The Club was formed to maintain a long standing relationship with our channel partners and give away rewards for their commitment with Microtek," he
said.

Under the scheme, the company plans to sponsor successful channel partners for a trip to Kathmandu, Bangkok, Mauritius, Paris, Switzerland or Europe, depending on their scores. "We have fixed different point slabs for each of these places and the scheme is open from November 2001 to March 2002," quipped
Mathur.

The company has given different points starting from one for its electronic extension - surge safe up to 24 for its 33.6 Kbps external modem. The scheme covers its entire product range including speakers, monitors, UPS, modems and cabinets. The minimum point to be earned for a foreign trip up to Kathmandu is 2,000 and a channel on earning 15,000 points would get a chance to fly Europe. "We expect all our 350 channel partners in this region to take part in this scheme," added Mathur.
