Microtek International, an IT peripherals company has launched its "EcoPower" series of power inverters, which are targeted at the home and office segments.
The company is initially launching two models, Model 650VA & Model 1250VA. These products have been designed and developed by Microtek's R&D team, in technical association with Motorola approved design house in Taiwan.
A unique feature of these inverters is that they offer, for the first time in India, a trapezoidal waveform output on battery mode, which almost eliminates the risk of over heating and shortened life of the equipment connected to it, unlike other inverters where this problem is quite frequent.
The specially designed constant voltage/constant wattage charger using pulse techniques increases the battery life by one and a half times compared to the conventional inverters. Another very user friendly feature of these inverters is that the user does not have to top up the battery water at short intervals. The company is also developing high-end inverters for future launch.
Microtek also announced the launch of its new range of Pentium 4 computer cabinets. These cabinets come in very attractive colors and are made of Japanese Sheet Steel and have a highly stable design. They are fitted with Microtek Silver SMPS (320W) which have an in-built surge protection circuitry to prevent your equipment from damages due to any surges and spikes which may occur. They are also equipped with an inbuilt line filter which ensures that a lower surge current is required at start-up by the UPS, thereby reducing load on the UPS at start-up.
Priced at Rs 2,050, these cabinets are available in three models -
- BOSS-2A(silver color),
- BOSS-2C(blue color)
- BOSS-6B(silver/blue color).
