Mumbai, January 17

International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners (IAMCP) India's West chapter conducted its first channel partner meet up of 2014. The event was held at MCA recreation center, BKC in Mumbai.

This is was the first event in this year and was attended by 55 microsoft channel partners, wherein couple of them were from Pune. Pravin Rege, VP, India, IAMCP (W) said, "After the appointment of new board members, this is the first event we are organizing. Partners have turned out in numbers and this is matter of pride for us."

The event highlight was an interesting presentation by Dr Nitin Paranjape who gave an interesting part technical session on Office 365, Lync, and SharePoint and also educated the attendees on key features of these solutions to further create business avenues.

At the event, Microsoft officials were also present including Mohammed Sadiq Pasha, SMB Lead WestT, Vaibhav Srivastava, regional public sector lead, SMS&P West & Central India, Umang Agnihotri, Partner Account Manager, solution partners, Sujay Das, partner account Manager, solution partners, Raghav Technology Advisor, corporate customers, public sector west, and Shantanu Mane, platform strategy advisor, Windows Azure Platform

Rege said, "Going ahead, we will be rolling out activities to revive and strengthen the Western India chapter of IAMCP."

The IAMCP India (West) board members include Mukesh Thumar who is the president, Pravin Rege as Vice President, Kartik Shah as treasurer, and Vimesh Avlani who is the secretary.
